Come join the fun for a great cause and release some endorphins at the Dolphin Dip 2026!

Take a dip in the Atlantic Ocean on January 1st as we support the great work of Share The Table, Inc. Our local food pantry with other services such as the “Munch Backpack Program” and “Free Community Meals”.

On New Year’s Day, people from around the world will gather for the Dolphin Dip Extravaganza on the beach in Surf City to start the new year with a plunge into the Atlantic Ocean! Specifically, at noon, a horn sounds and thousands of people shrieking with delight run into the ocean to “wash away” the previous year. In addition to being a local tradition, it’s fun and exhilarating.

Dolphin Dip Festivities

The festivities kick off at the Roland Avenue Beach Access at 11am on January 1, 2026. During this time, you may see dinosaurs, belly dancers, and lots of awesome costumes. However, keep in mind that the Dip happens at NOON sharp! Furthermore, there is no cost to attend because it’s FREE for the whole family – including your pets.

Whether you plan to jump in or not, be sure to come on out and enjoy the entertainment. Moreover, if you come early enough, you may even get to see actual dolphins swimming just off the pier.

Notably, proceeds from t-shirt sales and other merchandise sales at the Dolphin Dip will benefit Share the Table. Therefore, bring your cash (no cards or checks) and support a great cause while having a lot of fun with friends and family!
