The festival kicks off on Friday evening with The Notorious Clam Slammers taking the stage at 6PM. The Clam Slammers are sponsored this year by “The Locals” of Topsail Beach. Gates opens at 5:00PM along with the beer and wine tent and the food trucks. Admission is $7 and only the main gate will be open (no advance ticket sales). There will be no craft vendors open on Friday night.

On Saturday afternoon the music gets started with The Carolina Band taking the stage starting at 12 noon. A tribute to our Country with the singing of our National Anthem and a Color Guard provided by the Pender High School JROTC will start the festivities.

Saturday evening things heat up with the North Tower Band beginning at 5PM. North Tower Band has been one of the south’s great party bands for over 40 years, providing the best in Top 40, beach, funk, and oldies. Sizzling brass, super vocals, and a wide-ranging repertoire all contribute to making this a night you don’t want to miss.

On Sunday afternoon The Catalinas will crank up the music at 1:00PM. The Catalinas, though known for Beach Music, regionally and  nationally for the regional hits with “You Haven’t the Right” in 1967,  mega hit “Summertime’s Callin’ Me”, in 1975, Dancin’ Romancin’ and Facts of Love in 1980.  “Summertime’s Callin’ Me”, written by Johnny Barker has become the anthem of North and South Carolina beach goers as they struggle through the winter waiting on summer to arrive. This song is credited for being largely responsible for the new wave of “Beach Music” that started when it was released in 1975.

On Sunday afternoon The Band of Oz will crank up the music at 1:00PM. The Band of Oz is sponsored this year by Matt Jones and the Streamline Realty Team. The Band of Oz is one of the most successful groups in the Southeast and continues to get the very best reviews from the top people in the entertainment business. The band features a full horn section to total a dynamic eight-member group.

Started in 1988, The Autumn With Topsail Festival is held on the grounds of the Historical Society of Topsail Island and the Assembly Building which houses the Missiles & More Museum in Topsail Beach, NC.  The festival features an Artists’ and Crafts Court with over 100 regional artists displaying and selling their work. Enjoy exciting live musical entertainment, a variety of amazing food with beer and wine, games and rides for children, and much more!

Housed inside this historic Assembly Building is the Missiles and More museum. The Missiles and More Museum came to life when a group of citizens were concerned for the future of the historical Assembly Building. The building was constructed in 1946 and was used by the government to assemble missiles for a secret missile operation being conducted on Topsail Island. The citizens began to pursue their goal to preserve the building and after several years of research the building was purchased. Thus it was decided that the Assembly Building would be the perfect place to have the Missiles and More museum. The late Betty Polzer’s dream was to promote the history of Topsail Island. Through hard work and dedication, her dream was finally realized and the Missiles and more Museum opened for all to enjoy in 1995.
