🌼 Earn Volunteer Hours This Summer! Pick your Activity – Party, Harvest and Paint ! 🌼

Hi Garden Enthusiasts!

Great News!

Since March 25, 2024, we’ve donated 250 pounds of fresh produce worth $2600 to Share the Table. Our all-volunteer team has contributed over 590 hours of work towards this effort, and we are humbled and grateful for the opportunity to make a difference.

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

1. Every Tuesday and Thursday starting May 16, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to around 10:00 a.m., stop by to help harvest, meet new people, and leave with a smile! All ages are welcome. In case of rain, the harvest will be canceled. We will notify you of the new harvest date. Sign Up here!
2. Thursday, May 30, 2024 – A Potluck Garden Party! This is a social to include all Surf City Rotarians, Kiwanis Club of Topsail Island, Share the Table volunteers, the Greater Topsail Community Garden leadership team, and our amazing volunteers! It will start around 6 pm and conclude around 7:30 pm (remember there are no lights and no bathrooms). Bring your drinks and a dish to share. Tables and chairs will be provided. In case of rain, the event will be canceled.  We will let you know of the new date. Sign Up here.
3. Tool Shed Communal Mural Painting—Yes, it will be like a “paint by number” mural, and everyone can participate! The above photos show what we will be painting. We have two-hour shifts on Saturday, June 8, and Sunday, June 9, starting at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 2:30 p.m. ! Sign Up here!
