The Paddle4Troops annual race is a high-energy day of fun and honor. This event takes place in Surf City at Sears Landing Restaurant. Specifically, we hold this race on the second Saturday after Labor Day each year. First, we gather to support our local military members. Then, we hit the water for an amazing cause. Join us to help make a real difference in the lives of our heroes!
Our Paddle4Troops event offers three different ways to get on the water. Specifically, we host a competitive 10K and a 5K race for men and women. In fact, we award paddle trophies to the top three finishers in these races. Furthermore, we offer a Fun Paddle for families and friends. Consequently, people of all skill levels can join the fun on a variety of boards and boats. Indeed, it is a great way to enjoy the beauty of Surf City while giving back.
Additionally, the day is filled with deep emotion and pride. First, we honor our service members with special tributes. Next, you can visit our Wall of Honor. This site features the stories of local heroes who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Moreover, you can hear from people who have received help from Paddle4Troops programs. As a result, you can see exactly how your support changes local lives for the better.
The Paddle4Troops race day offers plenty of fun on land as well. Specifically, we host live music throughout the afternoon. Also, you can take part in our raffles and a 50/50 drawing. Furthermore, our live auction is full of exciting items from local donors. Therefore, even if you do not paddle, you can still help our mission. Indeed, every dollar we raise goes to support veterans in our area with housing, health, and education needs.

Do you want to be a sponsor for the next Paddle4Troops event? Specifically, we are always looking for local partners to join our team. Next, you can visit our website to sign up as a racer or a donor. Finally, please share our mission with your friends and family. Most importantly, we thank you for helping us serve those who served our country!
