Furthermore, our guest this month is Arleen Fields. Notably, she comes to us from the Davis Memorial Library at Methodist University. In addition, she is an expert on the life of the Marquis de Lafayette. Indeed, she will tell us the bold tale of “A Shared Fight for Liberty.” Therefore, you will hear about the brave Adrienne de Lafayette and her famous husband.
While many know the Marquis for his war feats, his wife was just as brave. Moreover, they were true partners in the fight for freedom. Specifically, they both believed that liberty was a right for all people. Actually, their bond helped shape history in both France and America. By attending this talk, you will discover the heart behind the revolution.
